Acorn needs to pay attention to these comments and make the thong longer so there's more space. Not enough space at all underneath the top band and I could barely get my toes around the thong and into the slipper. Once in, it felt very uncomfortable because of the tightness. About the only thing they're missing is an eVENT or XCR lining (or other flavor) to handle the wet weather as the soles definitely handle wet rocks. Even with this they're still great for me; we typically have great weather for day hiking so if the lack of the waterproof breathable liner isn't huge. Overall, these work great for day hikes on the rocky stuff.

A very sexy boot - I ordered a size larger than my flats which really worked out for me, they go on and off easy and feel better any high heel boot I ever owned I never would have tried a larger size if there was not such a great return policy. A pair of these slippers just arrived in the berry color, and I love them. Acorn makes excellent products, and I appreciate the fact that many of their slippers are washable. In addition, they understand the need to keep the footbed stable, so that while they provide a surface that's comfortable (and delightful for bare feet), they don't overpad the heel or instep. This particular design is really fun! My only complaint would be that the size XL (9.5 to 10.5) seems a little short on my size 10 feet.

A really pretty boot. Fit was true to size with a toe-box that did not pinch my toes. Beautiful design. I would have kept these boots if the heel were only a wee bit shorter. For me, the heel height crossed a line where I felt a strain in my knees. I exchanged them for the Clarks "Diamond Exchange," a similar style. The four stars on comfort reflects my thoughts on the heel height.

A keeper at last. I needed to order a half size larger, 11 up to 11.5, and wider, 3EE instead of W to get a comfortable fit for my painful and hammertoed feet; need lots of room as time goes by. I am sure if you have normal, healthy feet this shoe will fit perfectly as stated. Anyone looking for a shoe that has a roomy toe box and no irritating inside seams and rough inner construction (I find even in more expensive name brand walking shoes) will be thrilled with this shoe. A Great Bootie! If you're going to buy one bootie this year, I recommend this one. I just got it in black suede and am planning on wearing it under bootcut cords, with short dresses and tights, and my skinny jeans. A disappointing trainer - I wanted a comfy pair of shoes to wear in the city. Unfortunately these hurt my feet after a couple of hours. There is little arch support and cushioning. Also, the shoe is pretty narrow so I can't wear very thick socks. They look cute. But after several blocks they start to hurt my feet.

A classic shoe with a stylish flare - These Converse Chuck Taylor Double Tongue Hi-Tops are very stylish and look great with just about anything. However, I don't recommend walking in them for a prolonged period of time because they offer very little support and may become uncomfortable. I also found that Converse shoes in general run at least a half size too large.
